10mm Masuyama quick test

Just a Quick daytime test..No eyerelief to speak of.. see the field curvature in my WO F6 and need to move head around to see all field .Against all my 10mm or near FL.. this lil heavy Masuyama 10mm is INCREDIBLY CLEAR.
Will need to do more testing soon..NOT FOR EYEGLASS WEARERS! But pulling head back I can still see any object near centre..SHARP, SHARP, SHARP EP. Seems like my clearest ep

I have that eyepiece also. Its a gem. Not so great in the outer field but towrds the centre it rivals anything and its so small.

I have read they do better in the outer edges on slower scopes like SCTs.

I used the 32mm in my C6 SCT for about an hour on Saturday night. Between the FC of the C6 and the astigmatism of the EP I was initially a little disappointed in the outer field but once I started looking at some globular clusters I forgot about the edges and just enjoyed the very clear views in the middle. It was nice to have the wide field so that the objects were seen in the context of their surroundings. The other great thing is the eyepiece is pretty light so it doesn't upset the balance of my small alt-az mount.
