Cygnus wall from the backyard

Was surprised to find out that i geta glimpse of the North America nebula from my house, so gave it an hour the other night to see how it might turn out.

This is 14 x 240s in Ha. I'm not sure about trying for any other bands, its a fairly low target on a bright horizon for me.

I guess this is something like EAA? I think of them as kind of postcards or visitor stamps... I still like taking quick pics to take a better look at things in the sky, even if there is really not much chance of producing a "good" image out of it. I reckon I'll hit California nebula, Andromeda, etc now that I know I have a clear view for an hour or two each night.

That's the go JP, having a quick look around to see what's out there.

I also do research on potential targets using Astrobin (or IIS) to see what others have achieved with regards to integration time etc.

Time well spent doing your 'homework'.

Your look at NGC7000 is pretty good.
Imagine it with more time and the other filters!

That's really good. I attempted imaging in Ha around cygnus years ago and it's already very low from Sydney. Astrofest in QLD at -26deg lat is good for northern targets like these.

Nice work JP . I captured some data on my 80mm scope with the.294 OSC on this target and it came up really good . I.wish I could see a bit further over the horizon just to capture tar gets like the tadpole and other cool nebula in that region.
