365Astronomy no longer shipping to Australia

I had consecutive issues with deliveries from 365Astronomy (one of which is still unresolved) and flaky communication from them. It seems that it has become too hard for them and they have told me that they now no longer ship to Australia (and other countries although looking at their updated T&C's it seems it is just Australia) except via arrangement and based upon order size.

Australia has become a pariah state during the COVID crisis just for being to far from everyone else

Delays and problems are being caused by the GST collection at the border. Unless they have an integrated system which collects and reports GST when the item is landed. The UK seems to be a particular problem. I recently waited over 3 months for some UK items on Ebay. There are plenty of US options, Amazon, B&H, Adorama. The USPS is also straining at the seams. Delivery times have been around 1 to 2 weeks from the US

Weeks? Most people are waiting 1 to 2 MONTHS for anything via USPS.

Argh...was this recent? I was contemplating on picking up their observatory tent and kept procrastinating. Now zero chance.

Theres never zero chance Sean. Always freight forwarding service options for US retailers that don't ship to Australia, they have been around for years.
