Here are some comparison shots of looking from the back of our property towards the Dandenongs with the view we normally see then roughly the same view with the smoke haze today from the bushfires which are over 200 k's away from us. The fires are burning on a 200 kilometer front now. We hope everyone can get through to the end of the week without loss as there is predicted rainfall on Friday. We all hope the bureau is right
I think we up here in northern NSW are also being effected by the
bushfire smoke in Victoria. There was a nice shot from the MODIS
Rapid Response System yesterday showing smoke being blown off
the east coast then being pushed north and making landfall
somewhere south of Coffs Harbour. The smoke cloud extends into
SE Queensland.
