Looks great, if I was in the market for a 10" dob, it looks like a good buy.

Man I was planning on the 12" lightbridge, but this is sooooooooo tempting. Better still he's just the next suburb away. Confused now.

Norm, unless you really need a truss over a solid tube, I'd jump on it. A 10" scope is a lot more user-friendly than a 12" and there is not that much between them ito what you will see. The accessories alone are worth more than the starting bid.

Wow that's cheap! You would pay over the current bid just for the collimator, EP's, and the Laser pointer & bracket. It would be like buying these accessories and getting a free 10" dob as a gift!
Jump on it someone!!!

Aren't the EP's just the standard FMC's that come with the budget bintel package?
If it was a 12" i'd think about it.

I think you're right Mike. Look like the standard ep's to me. The price is starting to creep up...trouble with this is (even though unlikely), if the primary mirror is ordinary for some reason, you have no warranty to fall back on. I guess it's OK at the price it is now though. It's only money.

Sold for $722
Well, new price today from Bintel, $679 with 3 EPs, a moon filter, and a straight thru finderscope.
The RA finderscope is $99, 4 filters $60, laser collimator$69, Lumicon pointer $79, Crayford focuser $119 (I think it comes with this type anyway, but not a ball-bearing slide?), fan & battery pack $60, accessory carry case $49.
Upgrades then, $530 retail. All up, $1210. For a second-hand buy, say 50% to 60% in good condition, = $605 to $726, and it sold for $722.
However people can go mad on eBay. I saw a Skyscout sold there for more than advertised discount retail a little while ago.

Norm, it can't hurt to go check it out.
Go on, you know you want it.
