I thought it was a bit ordinary, too many dead spots in the movie, not enough character building and reliance on CGI.

The main girl is not a good actress and hardly did any acting at all leaving voids in the movie and uncomfortable scenes.

Nearer the end it got better though. Overall I feel it waters down the Star Wars brand and not everyone will realise its a filler movie whilst they make the next main sequence movie to be released the end of next year.

Greg.

Yeah... nah.

I think I'll wait until they include a script.

An enjoyable movie with no glaring faults - good family viewing. 7/10

I was hypercritical of Starwars 7 so i went to see this with a jaded opinion. I was, I am pleased to say, extremely impressed. Great one liners, good acting, CGI was spectacular on the big screen. It also meshed well with A New Hope. I think they may be back on the right track. Real good film and I recommend it to anyone 8+

Script was a bit sharper than the usual Star Wars film. I'd say 7.5 out of 10 from me. Worth seeing.

Best special effects ever. After SW7 (wasn't bad but wasn't that good either) I had reservations but this movie brought me back to when I was 13 and the first Star Wars screened. Ben Mendelsohn character wasn't that great...rather meeh.

Thank you Disney for two awesome new Star wars movies.
Rogue One rocks!
Possibly my favourite of all of them.
Real feeling characters played with conviction, terrific story, dazzling space battles, welcome cameos and "some really good people died" which only added to the sense of realism, pathos and dedication.
Nice one Disney, that's a rating of five death stars from me

Greg.
That next flick might be back in house for a re-write after Decembers sad events.

I believe THOR will be the next Star Trek Hero.
He's been in it briefly already ....

Yep, enjoyed it immensely. Had fun picking up the connections through to Episode IV, wookies, R2D2 and C3PO, Admiral Ackbar (sp?) and others. Some awesome fight and flight stuff. Good to see the old X-Wings in action. And Darth himself .....

Here's the VR4, it's gone over to the Dark Side of the Force.
