Been getting those flying termites around my neck of the woods also, bit of a concern.
Luv the salt gun, don't know if customs would though, no sense of humour those guys.
I am surprised you have any light source, and I presume it is the light that brings them in.
You could put a light in a bucket in the yard (no water) with a small light to draw them away.
