[SOLD] Price Drop -> Atik 420 Mono in very good condition

Hi All,

For sale is my Atik 420 Mono Camera, in very good condition. Variable workloads and limited time means my observatory doesn't get the time or the love or the good weather it needs in order to collect lots of mono data. So I am switching back to OSC at some stage.

Camera is very clean on the sensor and has never really been out of the scope and well covered since it was purchased. Cools to about 27 to 30 degrees below ambient is a very clean sensor with low noise and no column defects as far as I can see.

Specs from Atik below:

• The Atik 420 Monochrome CCD Camera employs a Sony Super HAD ICX-274 sensor.
• With 2 million pixels @ 4.4µm square short focal length telescopes will provide a very fast, high definition wide field of view.
• Newly developed low-noise electronics are used in the Atik 420 Monochrome CCD Camera for the best sensitivity.
• The new Atik 4-Series features a narrow body, only 60mm diameter, for prime focus imaging using HyperStar/Fastar systems.
• The Atik 420 Monochrome CCD Camera offers regulated cooling up to -30°C below ambient temperature.
• Maximum QE of nearly 60% from 450-470nm.

I still have the box and CD, which are both in good condition.

I have had a few enquiries into purchasing this with the Filterwheel, but none for just the camera.

Any interest?

The camera is very easy to use in Maxim DL, or Atik's program, provides clean results and has only been used a handful of times.
