Antares at 300mm version 2

I think the addition of 5 hours of red data has made an improvement to the image.

Cloudy tonight, so no imaging. But there is ALL Winter to collect data.

The star top middle with the Ha nebulosity surrounding it is definitely a target once I have the 10" newt back up and running.

Thanks for looking and feedback welcomed!

Scott

Very nice image Scott; pleasant yet contrasting colours, stars look good and you have also captured an interesting area of the sky

That's pretty auuesome! Can almost feel the fire of that nuclear furnace. Great detail in the surrounding nebulous gas and dust as uuell.

(sorry for the double-u's ie uu. my kb is busted.)

Thanks very much gentlemen.
Yes a verrrrŕy interesting region.
When I first started this hobby about 4 years ago it was my first target. Taken through my 100 mm macro lens on the 600d. I have intentions to image it at 1100mm eventually.
Once again thanks for your interest and comments. Appreciated
Scott
