Hello my friends,
This is a hard target for me as it swings along E-W literally between tree tops, so this was one observing session only thus far. Aim to gather extra (of course!!-don't we all) But am pleased with this for two reasons, 1/ ten minute exposures , 2/ I think i solved my flats issue. Would love some RGB for this but not looking good this side of next Moon.
I was underexposing them I think - read a lot of back IIS stuff and worked at it a bit.
So here is NGC 2264 Cone Nebula and Sharpless 273 Fox Fur Nebula. Baader Halpha 7nm
Just 120 precious clear sky minutes of ten mins with FLI ML8300 at -30'c and Tak 85FSQ.
Acquired + guided with Maxim Dl 5 and processed basically in Star Tools.
I think the term "Needs More Data" should have an acronym so here we are...
NMD" , closely followed by TFC - too _______ing cloudy!!!
cheers
