Nice one Geoff, I like this and like your recent M68, it has a nice 3D look, like it is actually a sphere or ball with nice resolution into individual stars, good job

Quite lovely Geoff, and time well spent.

I'm guessing that we are seeing a good smattering of red giants here, very bright, and making the bulk of stars in the cluster look bluish by comparison. If that's true, it's very interesting.

Best,
Mike

Thanks Mike. I suppose globs offer the best bang for the buck--short exposure, easy processing, easy on the eye.

Thanks Rick. As Mike points out some of the blue may be exaggerated to offset the red giants, since I took the total star field as the white reference.

Thanks Mike. That would be my guess too.

I really like these globulars that you have been capturing with the Planewave Geoff. Nice resolution and colours. Should do more of them.

Thanks Rodney. As I said above, they are a good bang for the buck. I usually do them when I'm waiting for my next object to get high enough in the sky for imaging.

Nicely done Geoff. Not usually a big fan of globs - unless they're done as well as this one

Thanks Marc. Glad I pulled you over to the dark side a bit.
