Funkey Lobster

Lots of firsts for me this one.
First image in my new backyard.
First Narrow band image.
First Time I've mapped in Hubble palette.

I had 15 subs of this taken at 20mins from 2 weeks ago but on Sunday i accidentally set my camera to 30 min subs.
When i came out to check my gear i was blown away how much more detail was dug out with Hydrogen Alpha .
I discarded my 20 min subs as they added nothing to the image and went with the 30 min subs.
Unfortunately i only managed to get 2 of each filter.

The centre of the diffuse nebula turned out a little over cooked when i mapped in Hubble palette but i liked to colour so much i just left it.

great work getting 30 min subs and still maintaining pinpoint stars, you must have had perfect polar alignment. breaking new ground!

Great result Michael. Purely as a matter of interest, is there any chance of seeing the results from each filter individually?

Fantastic! That middle bit look at little overblown but the detail in the rest is outstanding!
