Hi Guys, Just wondering what this might be.
Taken at 7am NZdst on 20/2/15 facing eastish.
each picture was 1/60th second and 30 seconds apart, so roughly 2m30s for it to cross the cameras view (lens at 20mm)
at first i thought it was a meteor, then realised it was over too much time, then i thought ISS, but the elongation at that shutter speed made me doubt that too.
i was sleeping while the camera was working so i did not witness it first hand.
any other suggestions as to what it might be?
thanks in advance
Hi Niko,
Interesting one there, could be a contrail, sometimes due to air temp and humidity levels they boil off as quick as they form. I have seen short ones like that before.
