Another Repro

Having learned some new processing techniques I went back to some old imaging sessions and had another go at them. This is an extremely pushed Alnitak and Flame Nebula from I think early 2013. My first processing attempts on this one just barely showed the flame. Now it is almost surreal. I think I've just caught the Horses Nose in the top right as well.

Nice one Brent, you've decided to repro a tough one to process!

you can see where more data is useful when you start to push the processing, it brings out the finer details as well as the noise!

did this one have flats applied?

cheers

To be honest Russell I'm not sure. I processed this set some time ago and just grabbed the output for this exercise. It was just a dozen or so frames stacked so not a real imaging attempt. I think I was clouded out after a short time.
