Tsunami in Japan (First person view)

Not sure if this has been posted before. I haven't seen this one before.
Quote:
Yu Muroga was doing his job making deliveries when the 11 March 2011 earthquake hit in Japan . Unaware, like many people in the area, of how far inland the Tsunami would travel, he continued to drive and do his job. The HD camera mounted on his dashboard captured not only the earthquake, but also the moment he and several other drivers were suddenly engulfed in the Tsunami. He escaped from the vehicle seconds before it was crushed by other debris and sunk underwater. His car and the camera have only recently been recovered by the police. The camera was heavily damaged but a video expert was able to retrieve this footage.

Youtube video is here.

Wow, I haven't seen that one. I wonder if the other people in the video managed to escape also.

Wow, incredible.

I was also amazed at the shaking during the actual earthquake - seeing the cars and trees shake, and even the person standing there was bumped off balance.

Terrifying - and that person at 1.00 min into the vid returns to close the door of their car about to be washed away

The helplessness in the face of such natural power is very frightening indeed.

I liked how the driver of the car infront of the camera gets out and heads off, realizes they left the door open so goes back to close it. Very thoughtfull of him/her.

Not seen that one. Certainly would be wondering if your time was up or not.

That was very interesting. Lots of cars floating better than I thought they would have.

Wow Marc, that's incredible footage.
Amazing to see just how much the ground is actually shaking the guy the van and the building. Also terrifying stuff to see just how quickly you could get caught up in a situation like that.

That's another one I hadn't seen before. This one sent chills down your spine. People running for their life as entire houses are sliding on the ground and coming after them.

Yes, that second one is terrifying to watch and shows very well the power of this force of nature.
