Well done Peter, that cloud was so frustrating.
I took a dozen shots with the ED80, I'll try stacking the best, I'm not very hopeful though.

worth the hunt i took a bunch of shots last week after the closest mars approach with DSLR and lens. Processed on the weekend and found the comet in there with tail smudge. at least being close to mars made it much easier to get the camera covering the right bit of sky. it looks like mars is approaching the lagoon nebula at the moment so thats another interesting photo-op thats easy to catch.

Will have to keep an eye out for that. Hopefully it's before the Nebula goes below the horizon?
