Manfrotto 058 tripod, 029 & 168 heads

I have a very sturdy Manfrotto 058 tripod for sale. It is in excellent working order and good cosmetic condition. I bought this primarily for use with a Vixen Polarie, which I have now sold.

Has geared centre column and lockable centre braces on all legs. The legs can be spread as wide as you like for stability (even virtually flat, subject to the centre column being raised out of the way).

This tripod also easily holds my 80mm refractor on a DSV-1 alt-az mount (not for sale). It is way better than the cheap tripods you get with a lot of mounts. Also, the ability to set the legs low and wide is great for letting young kids look through the scope.

Also available are two tripod heads. Both are in perfect working order. Cosmetically show some signs of use.

Manfrotto 168 heavy duty ball head. Perfect for supporting a Polarie (actually overkill) or large lenses. Comes with quick release plate.

Manfrotto 029 three-way pan & tilt head. This is the predecessor to the excellent 229 head. Can take over 8kg. Very solid. Two bubble levels and quick release plate (same plate as the 168 head).

Decent pictures to follow. Attached is a phone camera image of the tripod at a low height with my SV80ED.

Prices:
Manfrotto 058 tripod: $170
Manfrotto 029 head: $90
Manfrotto 168 head: $50

Package price for all three items: $250

May split, but only if tripod sells first.

The heads can be posted for around $20 each but the tripod is too large and is pickup only (Ryde).

Will eventually list on ebay if they don't sell here.

Enquiries by PM please.

Thanks

Morton
