Which society?

Hi all,

Now that I'm a Queenslander (Sunshine Coast), I was wondering which astronomical society I should join up to?

Thanks for any suggestions.

H

There is no club on the Sunshine coast now,it folded quite a few years.

Come and join us down at Leyburn H - bit of a drive, but well worth the effort!

Yes, get out to Ron's and check out the Cambroon hospitality H. You can't go wrong! Now I just need to follow my own advice - haven't been up for too long.

Ron is closest to the Sunshine Coast. You're welcome at Ten Chain Hill too, near Somerset Dam just a bit further - probably 90 minutes drive away for you.

Wow, thank you, so much, all.

I would love to take you all up on your kind offers! I have no problem with long drives. I've been doing the Canberra-Sydney haul and back for 8 years so have become conditioned to long distance driving.

I will keep an eye out for events. Or, is there an email list that gets sent around close to event time that I can get in on?

Just waiting for my gear to arrive... hopefully today.
