Pixel Problems on a QHY8

I have been using a QHY8 on a windows 7 64 laptop for some time. However over the last few image sessions I am seeing lots more hot colour pixels in my images. I have shortend the lead and lowered the TEC temps as far as they will go. Tried both USB and ASCOM drivers and tried Nebulosity 2 and 3 and Easy cap with same results. I am sitting in my lounge with Only the camera attached to the laptop with some foil over the camera to block out some of the light... I have attached an image showing large amounts of pixels in the dark section of the image. Same happens if I fully black out the camera...

Any ideas would be great. I have called the dealer and he suggested some of the things above, but they have not helped...

Regards
Martin

Problem found..... Was the cable that supplies the TEC power (4 pin din). The socket on the camera was dirty, so a little contact cleaner fixed the problem. I was getting around 60 bad pixels in an image, and now I only have 3..
