Retro full frame Nikon

My brother sent me this link:
http://www.australianphotography.com...ull-frame-dslr

I still love my old Nikon SLR and would never part with it.
Always wanted an F2 but could never afford one, mine was
an FG.
Imagine having the best of both worlds....
reliving old school nostalgia and full frame digital!
Just gorgeous!

I already read it on dpreview.com. A really nice camera with its retro look.

Will Canon beat it with an EOS-F1 (an EOS1X in an F-1 body) ? When they also include exchangable viewfinders they'll beat Nikon.

Nikon has beaten Canon by allowing mounting DX lenses on all FX cameras including this one. I hoped Canon allowed mounting EF-S lenses on the EOS-5Mk3 and 6 but they didn't. Missed chance.

Why on earth would anyone want the EF-S lenses to be mountable on full frame cameras? They are cheap and nasty! I dare say, anyone who owns a 5D Mark III knows what they're doing and would be purchasing L-series glass and not EF-S garbage.

There's also no such thing as the DX/FX paradigm in the Canon world. Except for the EF-S lenses, ALL EF lenses work on Canon systems.

Who beat who, again? No-one.

Love the look, I also have an FG, but my first Nikon was an F2.
Sadly it was stolen.
Maybe I can afford this one day.
