Old brass telescope

I was given an old brass 5 inch refractor with tripod. It has no engravings or markings on it. I would like to find out its age and manufacturer. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ron.Photo is attached.

Hi Ron, that is quite a large refractor. Go to Cloudy Nights forums and post a pic on the classic vintage scope forum, there are quite a few knowledgeable folks there.

Lucky you Ron , can you take a few photos of the lense , focuser and the mount then post them here .
That would help a lot .
