Pic from Emu Plains

The night skies have been great the last few days. Got out last night and took some pics at emu plains. The moon wasn't out but plenty of light pollution from Penrith and the rest of Sydney to light up the surroundings. I was out a week ago at this spot but the full moon made the pics look like day light so I had another go. This is a 2 shot vertical panorama. 16mm, 20 sec iso 4000, 2.8.
thanks for looking.

Michael.

Nice. I wonder if playing with the white balance can make that sky look more blue and less purply. I see some nice shades of blue in some of these shots using a 5D2. I think the white balance response in the blue
can be a real strength of the Canon's.

The clouds around the tree and the Milky Way appearing from the top, give a candle flame-like effect-very nice!

Thanks Carlos, Matt, Ross, Greg & Larry. I've tweaked the levels in photoshop as per Greg's suggestions to make it less purple. I think it looks better. Thanks.
