Question AAG CloudWatcher Installation

Anyone have one of these?

I'm in the process of installing mine.

There's two bare wires at the end of the cable along with the 9 pin plug and the 15v plug. The instruction manual says nothing about the wires. I'm wondering what they are for ? and if they should be taped up to not touch or such

They are a relay output.

If safe: open circuit.

If unsafe: closed circuit.

I use mine to slam my roof shut in case of bad weather. Works well.

Ahh, excellent, thanks.

I need to make sure my telescope is parked before shutting the roof ... so probably won't use them. Rely on CCDCommander to do things in a sequence.
