Comet C/2011 L4 (Panstarrs)

I was lucky to image Comet Panstarrs at an altitude of only 6 degrees above the horizon, it's getting difficult to image due to atmospheric turbulence at this low altitude.

Thank you all for your kind comments as it was a difficult object to image due to it's low altitude (6 degrees above the horizon) when the image was taken.

Ciarlotto, I used a William optics GT-81 OTA fitted with a 0.8x Tele Vue reducer, the camera used was a QHY8 and the exposure time was 2 minutes.

Nice George!

Shows good structure in the tail.
Missed image Panstarrs last night, clouded over, hopefully tonight.

Cheers,

Justin.
