Hi Astro_Bot, the software i was using was a 15 year old version of corel photopaint it was difficult to adjust the image levels without loosing detail. I now just need to update my computer its an old pentium 2 running 1.2ghz with 2gb ram and only 10 gb free on hdd. It runs so slow it took 8 hours to stack the 90 subs for this shot and another 3 to process.
thats nice wayne
impressive on alt az and no guiding
mate is the gimp a free download? i need to try one of these processes as i have only dss to stack and process(?)
need to try the next level but PS is expensive to "try"
pat
That's a great shot Wayne. The detail is really very good.
You might like Cinepaint, which is a GIMP offshoot, free, used by major film companies (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and others) - processes in 32bit.
