My GSO RC8 is up for sale along with an AstroTech 2" Flattener, Bart Mask and storage case.
The scope is in fine working order and comes with the standard GSO focuser. I never found the need to replace this focuser as it worked OK for me. The focuser comes with a 2" to 1.25" adapter. The scope holds focus very well and not only during the night, but from night to night. I've also included a Bart Mask to suit the scope. I also have 2 x 50mm and 1 x 100mm extension tubes to go between the focuser and the scope. I found I use either 100mm or 150mm of extension with normal use.
The 2" flattener works fine and has a Male T-Thread on the camera side. This flattener is also supposed to work with Refractors from F6 to F8.
I also have a very attractive Blue and Orange Storage box for when the scope is not in use. I was always going to foam inject this box but never got around to it.
This scope is well suited to any camera which has a T-Thread on the nose. It's not well suited to larger sensored cameras like the Atik 11000 I'm using now, 2" isn't big enough. These sample images where shot with a QHY9 mono.
Not sure about shipping, I doubt this storage case would survive a courier but something could be done I guess.
Oh this is just nasty!! I had been looking for one of these for ages! I posted a wanted advert on here a while back and also discussed this scope with jjjnettie. Timing just isn't right at the moment.....maybe
Is this a newer model that had the internal reflection issue fixed?
