First light on my SW ED80 (thanks Meru) and Orion Star Shoot guider on 50mm finderscope (thanks bintel).

it was a night of 1st's...

Also used Backyard EOS to control my Canon60d for the first time, what a fantastic program! Highly recommend it!

That's really nice Carlos. There is some nice depth in the starfield looking into toward the heart of the cluster. Would really like to see a Pic of Omega Cent when it's a bit higher in the sky.

Thanks guys all your comments are really encouraging I had a blast using all that equipment, watching it come together and work pretty much as its supposed to, mind you it was a full moon too.

I'll defiantely give Omega Cent a go Trevor, I just need to wait for it to get up there in the late hours of the morning

Nice shot Carlos. Great definition, focus looks spot on. Can just see some colour in the Glob.

Cheers Rod I can't wait to try again especially when the skies are darker, I took this on Sunday night during the full moon, I couldn't help myself I had to play with all my new toys
