OK, so who is going to be first ...

..to buy Canons latest offering ... ?

I'm just waiting for the preloved prices to come down on earlier models ...
It's getting as bad as phone upgrades now in the 'have to have' world.

It has been reported that Canon has suspended operations at their digital camera
factory in Guangdong, China, as safety concerns grow over the anti-Japan protests.

This video, purportedly shot recently in one Canon factory in China, has the workers
calling to strike.

Canon says it will decide when to resume operations there depending on how
the protests pan out.

Meantime, in the former German colonial port of Qingdao, protesters smashed their
way into two Panasonic component factories, damaging parts of the facility and
starting a fire which caused further damage to equipment when the fire sprinklers triggered.

Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda have also halted production in China.
