Image Quality

Any chance of any example images taken by this refractor? I would be keen to see what the image clarity/distortion is like around the fringes of the image.

Sorry Grant, I never got around to taking any images, in fact the Flattener IV is brand new and unused. Cheers.

Is the Field Flattener 4 compatible with CCD cameras. The WO site is unclear on this (to me).

Hi Mark,

I believe it is compatible from my reading. It has to be coupled to the T-thread of course and is mainly suitable for APS size chips. At least the flattener is adjustable. Cheers, Steve

Would you consider selling M120 at a lower price without the Flattener?

Megrez 120

Hi,
I am very interested in purchasing your WO 120 megrez and consider the asking price is fair.
I live in Brisbane and will be travelling down to the Blue mountains in about a week or so therefore I could pick up the scope in person.
If this appears OK by you, I will send a deposit to your nominated bank account and pay the balance on arrival.
As this is the first time I have used this service I am unsure if my email address is available to you.
So here it is
budabbott@optusnet.com.au
Eagerly await your reply,
Brian A.
