6 MP CCD camera, cooled etc. Comes with hard case, software, cables, and I will include an additional nosepiece.

I have had this all of 3 days. Works fine, just not as fine a detail as my Canon 5D MkII! IT was an impulse buy.

I DID take the thing apart to get a piece of crud off the glass platen. Did not touch ANYTHING else. I also replaced the screws on the back, as the ones on it almost sheared taking the back off!!! Now got computer D mount thumb screws.

I paid $1500 for it. I am selling it for $725.

Lewis, there's an 82% Moon out there. You can't compare the two cameras under those conditions.

I can, and I did I just prefer the DSLR to be 100% honest. I prefer the capture software I use with the DSLR (The Orion uses MaxIM. It and I dislike each other vehemently!), and I prefer the veratility of being able to change more settings to suit

Just me I guess.

Plus, I need to buy a new refractor - see elsewhere

Is this monochrome or oneshot colour model. Do you have a link or Orion model # so I can check specs. I am also a DSLR user at the moment lpossibly ooking for moncohrome CCD.
