Orion Nebula

Hey all,
This is my first attempt at doing a stacked image of the Orion Nebula. I used DSS to stack and Lightroom to touch it up.

Camera: Canon EOS 30D
Telescope: Saxon 8" dob, no tracking
Approx. 400 photos stacked
1600 iso @ 0.6 seconds each

Comments/suggestions are welcome as I am looking to improve

Great result from a non tracking mount. It reveals quite a bit more with a bit of stretching in PS before the noise level becomes too bad.

I second that, for a non tracking mount and such short subs, that's a teriffic effort
