Focal Reducer

G'Day,
Using a Andrews Solar System Imager with a 0.5 Focal Reducer still will not allow me to image the whole moon. My question is can I use two 0.5 Focal Reducers to get a larger image. Also Andrews list a extension tube to fit the focal reducer, will this increase the field of view even more.

Thanks,
Rastis.

What is the spacing between the reducer and the camera? Are you using a scope and if so what focal length is it? Need more information to help.

G'Day,
The scope is a 8" dob (1200 focal length from memory), and the focal reducer screws into the camera 1 1/4 nose piece which would be about 1 1/2" long. The extension tube that they sell is another 1" long.

Rastis.
