Great stuff Peter,
Love the old War birds, the F4U Corsair is one of my favourites I think its a 1A, I could be wrong there though, all very good shots, first class and love the grey scale work.

Taking these lovelly shots in greyscale has added a time dimension in my opinion for these Warbirds. I congrat you Peter for doing this!

Thanks for showing us!

Love the Corsair. It's a classic with that Gull wing.

Yep, a top set Peter. Black and white is a fantastically descriptive medium. I'm going back to it more and more lately and, like you, think that aircraft are a great subject for it. Two of my long-term favourites too - the F4U and Vampire. Thanks!

For all Corsair fans, how many of you watched the TV series "Baa Baa Black Sheep" growing up? The movie was on a few weeks ago, and memories came flooding back. Pappy Boyington played by Robert Conrad. Excellent!

Yes Chris. Now that you mention it. Must be aviation week. I don't think I've seen so many aircraft posts. Some great shots all round.
