Question X-37B set to return to Earth

According to the Vandenburg Air Force Base web site, preparations are underway
for the second landing of the USAF's unmanned, reusable space plane, X-37B.

See http://www.vandenberg.af.mil/news/st...p?id=123304066

The vehicle was launched on March 5 2011 and its purpose has been cloaked
in secrecy.

The X-37B was developed by Boeing's Space and Intelligence Systems unit.

Story in Sydney Morning Herald here including links to various other media sources
who have speculated what role the spacecraft plays -
