Starshoot issues

Hi could someone please help i have an orion sarshoot that freezes now that i have upgraded to windows 10. worked perfectly on windows 7. I am not computer savvy, i have looked but am unsure if there are drivers for it. is OS X, mac or pc? Why is life so difficult, Astronomy was easier in Galileo's time

Thanks in advance for any help

I have no idea what you mean about windows 10. Is it software you are using that freezes or the camera itself just stops working for some reason? If it is software you are using that freezes, try running it in compatability mode with an earlier windows version. I can't help you with how to go about that though as I didn't know there was a windows 10. Google compatability mode and it should teach you how to run a program in it for whatever version of windows you are using.

He (my neighbour) said that it was a later version of the driver than the one on the install disk, we downloaded it and installed it waved his magic wand and it worked

I really need to learn about computers
