Its been quite challenging lately, but Saturday was the worst conditions I've had in a while. I should've had a look at what the jet stream was doing. Ignoring the jetstream, I'm thinking I'm entering a period of poor solar seeing - a combination of low sun altitude and thermals. I know I've managed better with lower sun altitude during winter, but the thermals aren't as active then

.
I usually image around 10am. It seems to give me the best seeing - reasonable altitude before the thermals kick in. Summer time I start a bit earlier, and winter time later. Its all a trade off.
