The Western Sydney Amateur Astronomy Group meets next Wednesday night at the University of Western Sydney's Nepean Observatory, at 7:30pm. This is at the Werrington campus, off the Gt Western Hwy and 2km east of the Northern Rd.

yep, Katoomba Airfield or some of the members of n.s.w astronomy club meet at Crago observatory from time to time. The observatory has a 16” ƒ/7 Dob . The Observatory is located on Bowen Mountain, in the Blue Mountains National Park, near North Richmond. must contact someone from the club first. In my opinion the best spot in Sydney.
meetings are held 2nd Wednesday each month, at 7:45pm, in the Tebbutt Rooms at the Derubbin Centre, Windsor.
They also observe on Third Quarter and New Moon weekends. The club organises several public field nights per year and presents a basic introduction to astronomy.
