Eta Carinae over Wiruna
Hello,
Another photo from last New Moon at Wiruna.
10 x10min exposures at -20c
Darks and Flats
DSS the Photoshop
WO M110 Refractor
QHY8L Camera
HEQ5Pro Mount
Again, I am not sure about the colours.
What do you think?
Thanks.
Ross.

Very nice Ross. The colours look accurate to me.
Perhaps a touch of shadows/highlights to make the core a bit more visible without dulling them down too much.

Thanks Greg,
I followed your advice from my last photo and used the HLVG plugin to lower the green in the background.
Thank you.
Ross.

I think you have slightly better natural framing than mine. Sure we can crop, but you have taken better care of the physicals than me.

Thanks Trevor.
I was shooting at about 500mm focal length while you were shooting at 800mm.
I had more room to move.
Ross.
