Well, it is with great pleasure that I announce that I am in the process of adding a QHY8-L to the stable of imaging tools that are used from my backyard, or as some may know it "Basalt Ridge". Unfortunately, for the time being I can't connect my coma corrector as I need an extension tube but it will come in good time.
Although it has yet to be delivered I have already made a mental list of what I'd like to image. I've condensed that list into a more concise form which reads "Anything and everything"! I think I might make that my astronomical mantra - "Quid Quaeque"! Brother Martin, my old Latin teacher, would be so proud.. although I did use Google Translate. And I tell you that would have been very handy back in the early 70's when I was doing Latin... but I digress...
Anyway, like an old gun slinger from a spaghetti western standing besides his trusted mount I declare (with the words ever so slightly out of sync with my lips), "Hydrogen alpha, I'm a comin' to get ya!!"
