crux

yeah so i am a noob at this... its not great but here is crux @ 150mm f5. 4 shots stacked

That's a great shot David. You got it just nicely. You picked up the various colours of the main stars without overdoing it and got a nice background going there.

What camera and exposures did you use?

i used a nikon d90 on a sigma 150-500mm lens (i use it for birding) the shots are all at f5 (its widest) and range from 30 seconds to 60 seconds (there is four of them. no darks, just lights

gday jeanette. its been a while hey. as you have seen i am selling my telescope.. my interest in astro stuff has somewhat declined. I am hoping to get a new smaller ed80 or something with the proceeds
then kyou should in theory see more of me.
