Saturn 13th April-good seeing very briefly

SPX350 F34.7, PGRFlea3, Astrodon filters + IR742nm.

Seeing again looked promising but deteriorated to awful, but got one good set early on before 10pm then the downturn quickly followed.

R RGB 1155hrs UT.
IR 1201hrs UT.

Thanks, John.

Nice work again John. You are doing it right here in QLD - Must be available every night ALL night to get the seeing.

Nice work John, its a real bummer when conditions change so rapidly but these images were certainly worth the effort.

Regards

Good shots!
Especially given the circumstances
I haven't seen Saturn since February thanks to cloud, so I appreciate the reminder.

Thanks everyone, as for going back home - not likely, weather here is still way better and seeing has been pretty good by the coast although Aussie weather is mad with storms that spring from nowhere, howling wind at night, cyclones, floods, sandflies, plagues of one sort or another and nasty bats. In the UK its just cloud and drizzle! In the Summer in the UK you cannot image for 3 months owing to astronomical twilight which you don't get here and planets never get very high up - So very happy!

John.
