Moon with minimal equipment

This was just a try out to see what kind of shot I could get, using basic equipment and acquisition processes.

Telescope: Skywatcher ED80
Camera: Canon 350D
Mount: Bintel Sky View II Alt Az Mount (Not driven)
Exposure: 10 camera raw at 1/500. Mirror lockup feature used to dampen vibration.

Processing: I have never been able to get Registax to load and process DSLR files, so debayering (to grey), alignment and stacking were done in CCDStack. File was then cropped to a sensible size and taken into Registax for wavelet sharpening.

I'm quite pleased with the result, given how little was needed to get it.
