Other uses for Sun eyepiece filter

Hi all

I have read the dangerous Eyepiece filter thread and will never use this filter that I got with a scope from the recycle center today on the sun. And I was wondering if it could have some other use is it too dark for the full moon

Not sure if it would work on the moon, I destroyed the one I had, just in case someone wanted to test it while I wasn't around... I didn't just throw it away either, I destroyed it so no one else could use it either.

But due to the lack of light it lets through, the moon would be very dim.

Now Warren .... from memory, you have secret ways of getting rid of EPs????

Not that I can talk after frying mine after I took the solar filter off.

Ah, does a mower ring a bell?? Perhaps a hammer then the mower to make you feel good.
