My modified Canon 40D is up for sale - A possible Christmas present for someone wanting to do astroimaging? I have upgraded to a CCD, and just haven't used it in a while.
It is in great condition, Pictures will follow, along with various things like the no of actuations.
Self-modded - and it is the 4th that I have done - and it comes with all the standard accessories - strap, genuine canon battery, 18-55 lens (non-IS). Has had a protective screen cover. For the modification I use very good UV/IR blocking filter from Baader.
I will also make up to 3 Bahtinov masks for anyone's scopes who would like to purchase the camera.
Works well as a terrestrial camera as well.
Has been serviced by Canon around 1 year ago (post modification), and is in perfect working order.
I have 5min dark raws at ISO 800 that I can post, and I have attached a picture of LMC as an example.
Asking $950 + freight.
