Hi all, got this one back in July and for some unknown reason I didn't process the image. It is 12 exposures of varying length with Astro 40D and 14" LX200 at f6.3 .

Good effort with a 40D, but you really need to get serious with that size tube, and get a cooled CCD. The res of the 40D is a bit wasted too.

Thanks Mike and Fred for your comments. Perhaps one day I will go the way of the CCD, but at this stage the 40D suits my limited processing skills. The 40D will come into its own when I get out the Tak 160mm f3.3 Epsilon Astrograph.

Thanks all for your comments. The diversification in people is like the differences in the night sky.

All the best.
