Hi all, I was able to get a few avis of Jupier this morning in almost calm, dry conditions.

Thats a very good effort there Lester, the jetstream has been very poorly placed for us for weeks now. The high velocity winds at alt really kill the fine detail that would have been in your image.

Consider this practice for when Jup is at opposition, looks like you have the gain for each channel nailed. At the moment it has a dia of 41 arc sec's but at opposition in Sept it will reach 49.9 arc sec's.

I recall some of your knockout images from 2009 that John Rogers used in some of his B.A.A. reports, hope you get some similar conditions for this years opposition.
