ISP Scam

Hi Everyone,
I feel I need to send out this warning.
A new and dangerous scam from Lagos Nigeria has surfaced. It threatens to shut down email acc. Its Bulldust. It looks convincing. The email asks for usernames, paswords country etc.

If you provide the scummer (mis spell intentional) with the info he can capture your emails and resend. You being none the wiser. A demand for some kind of payment will eventuate. They love Western Union money Transfers.

Simply delete it and don't worry.

Cheers Marty

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a virus that you could send back to them that would overload their power supply and literally melt there computers.

That would fix the losers.

re scummers

thanks for advising,Marty.

I had a email about a week or so ago, from 'British Telecom' telling me I had won 1000,000 million pounds (where is the pound symbol on key board)

It asked for name, occupation etc, like you say-really scummers tricks, sounds like it was from same mob you mentin Marty.I deleted it quick.

I use 'gmail' for my emailing, and this was the first time I have ever had a skank message slip through the nets.

like Marty says-if is looks fishy-dump it!

cheers Chris

Yes there are the internet is loaded with them.

Check Revenge scams or something like that. Read the whole thing before you do anything.

It would be unethical for me to place an accurate link. But what I mention is public domain.

Cheers

I know what you mean Marty and I probably wouldn't try it anyway.

Knowing my luck, I'd probably blow my own computer up.

Best just to ignore them as you say.

Cheers
