Maxckon weather station ws-1081

G'day, I'm a beginner.

I've purchased a Maxkon Weather Station WS-1081. The easyWeather software works fine on my mini notebook operating on Windows XP, but it won't run on my new laptop running on Windows 7?

I've downloaded Cumulus, but the data doesn't download?

Any advice please?

You could try uninstalling easyweather and reinstalling using "Run as Adminstrator" (right click on the install or setup file and select Run as Administrator. The problem you will most likely have is with the driversl, I seem to remember W7 will only install signed drivers. This link shows how to disable the signed drivers feature. Alternatively you could try using the XP virtual machine feature if you have Win7Pro or above.
