Captured with the Moon and BrisVegas beautifully lighting the Tempest Observatory.
Captured with 52x2min subs from a DSI II Pro through a 10"SCT at f6.3.
Processed with DSS and PS3 with a bit of a tough gradient to remove.

Looks good Al considering the LP. Are you going to add more data when the new moon comes around?
Cheers,
Duncan

Not as much as me. I must say the Michael at Bintel has been absolutely top in dealing with my purchase of the DSI

That's a great start to the capture. Light pollution is absolutely amazing, the amount of it that is! But the capture of the data and getting rid of gradients is all part of the fun.

Can't wait to see the final image, nicely done!

Thanks Marc and Darren for the comments. I enjoy playing with the DSI but find its limitations in relation to noise and resolution frustrating. Hopefully when I manage to get the QSI out under some dark skies then I can start to take the type of shots I want to
