Power Supply for Gemini

I'm going to need to purchase a regulated power supply for my Losmandy Titan / Gemini. I've been reading the Yahoo forums and it appears that there are many issues caused by bad power (runaway slews, etc).
Can any Gemini owners out there suggest a power supply that I can purchase locally?
Should I be looking for 12V, 13.8V, 18V?
Should I use a dedicated power supply or can I share it with other equipment (assuming it's beafy enough)?
Is something like this sufficient?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Matt

I have been using this one for 2yrs now. Never had a problem BUT I know people who had so don't quote me on it. I use it to power only the gemini/servo system with it. I have separate power sources for the rest of the rig. HTH.

I have been using a GME PSA 1210 13.8 volt, 11 amp, regulated power supply for probably 6-7 years now without any dramas whatsoever, run all my 12 volt stuff off this unit.

My Gemini has never missed a beat, never suffered from stalls or motor lags.

I have 2 units, the 11 amp one is for my field work and I have a smaller 5 amp one for the observatory.

Titan/Gemini power supply

I have used the followig power supply for many years and it was purchased from jarcar electronics here in Melbourne.

Powertech
5 Amp 13.8 V DC
REGULATED
cat MP-3072
They could still have this model or an equivalent. It must be a regulated supply.

Cheers Arthur

I have two 13.8 regulated power supplies, one for the dew heaters, and one that just runs the G11 mount, they have been perfect, and never failed me.
I purchased these from BD Technologies in Ballarat, model No SEC1212 13.8V Power Supply 10A Switch Mode.

They cost me $169.00 each, but that was a couple of years ago, hope this helps.

Many thanks for the responses gents.

Looks like a good quality 13.8V ~10A regulated power supply will do the job nicely.
